When access reopens: From US 395, take CA 203 west through Mammoth Lakes, turn right onto Minaret Road to remain on CA 203, and continue past Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge toward Minaret Vista. Continue on Reds Meadow Road past the entrance station. From the entrance station, drive approximately 5.4 miles down Reds Meadow Road. Turn left onto Pumice Flat Group Campground Road. The group campground is separate from the family campground on the opposite side of the valley road.
