Directions
Access notice: McGee Creek Campground is closed in 2026 until further notice because of wildfire damage. Check the official campground notice before traveling.
When access reopens: From US 395, take McGee Creek Road southwest for approximately 1.9 miles. Turn left at the Forest Service campground entrance and follow the access road into the campground. This is farther up McGee Creek Road than the private McGee Creek RV Park.
